February  2019 Open House
Thank you to those who attended the study’s February 11 Open House. The study team provided a recap of the study to date, an update of recent analyses outcomes, and an overview of potential implementation plan components. It has been determined that the alternative US Highway 83 alignment need and benefits is outside of the year 2040 time-horizon. However, the existing State Street (US Highway 83) corridor is expected to need transportation improvements within the year 2040 time-horizon. Therefore, the remaining study analysis and implementation planning will focus on improvement needs and subsequent benefits to the existing State Street (US Highway 83) corridor.

July 2018 Public Engagement Meeting
Thank you to those who attended the study’s July 17 public engagement meeting. The study team provided an update about the study, shared preliminary findings, and previewed potential alternatives. The meeting included a presentation at 5:30 p.m. that provided an overview of the materials on display and previewed the interactive activities planned for the meeting following the presentation. Study team members were on hand during the meeting to answer questions and assisted with the interactive preference activities. The public was encouraged to stop by anytime between 5:00-7:00 p.m.

February 2018 Open House
The first in a series of open house meetings was held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Capital Electric Co-Op in Bismarck to provide an opportunity for the public to learn about the study and provide feedback. The meeting consisted of a drop-in style format, with two short presentations given at 5:45 pm and 6:45 pm.
